Public Consultation on the Evaluation of the Waste Shipment

The international Green Deal North Sea Resources Roundabout (NSRR) aims to boost the circular economy by facilitating trade and transboundary shipment of secondary resources within the North Sea region. Private initiators, policy makers, inspection and other stakeholders work together to tackle (perceived) barriers that hamper the trade and transportation of these resources. Issues related to the Waste Shipment Regulation feature quite prominently on the lists of barriers of the individual NSRR cases. Below all the information on the ongoing consultation is provided.

 

To whom it may concern:

We would like to inform you that the online public consultation on the evaluation of the Waste Shipment Regulation was launched today on the “EU Survey” portal of the EUROPA website. This consultation is available in all 23 EU languages and will remain open for contributions for a period of 12 weeks. The closing date is 27 April 2018.

You can access this consultation and submit your response to the questionnaire at the latest by 27 April 2018, by clicking here: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/WasteShipmentReg. In case you need to address aspects in more detail or provide information or data which may be of relevance to the evaluation, such information can also be submitted via email until 27 April 2018 at: WSRevaluation@trinomics.eu.
